Abi is one, well almost. We celebrated early this year because John will be out to sea for the actual event. So John made pizza (one of Abi's favs from Italy), I baked a cake and most importantly made frosting. After some dismal singing by us, Abi dug in and ate and ate and ate. It turns out she likes cake. Or rather she likes frosting. With technique that makes a mother proud, she used her candle as a spoon to eat frosting off the cake. That's my girl!
